Students are allowed to reserve a 3-hour block of time. Please plan your shots accordingly. You cannot run over into the next time block. If you need extra time, you must make an appointment with the Director of Operations or the DV/Audio Systems Administrator to review your shot plan. Walk-in appointments are allowed based on availability of time slots and staffing. Ask a Front Office Manager for more details.

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for any green screen shoot (security clearances for guests/actors requires 24 hour advanced notice).

Students that are 30 minutes late to their reservation forfeit their time slot. If you are late for a second time, you lose reservation privileges. At this time, we do not allow walk-in appointments.

There is NO food, drinks, water, fire, soil, sand or chemicals allowed in the Green Screen Room.

NO shoes are allowed on the green screen. If shoes are required for your shots, cover the soles of your shoes with green gaff tape. Once your shoes are taped, you cannot leave the screen or you must re-tape your shoes.

Students are responsible for their own capture, logging and backing up of all footage shot in the green screen room. If any media is left on any of the temporary storage drives, it will be erased without any effort to contact the student first. If you are a second semester Junior or Senior and need long-term storage for your thesis project, please see the DV System Administrator.

Students MUST check-in and check-out with a Front Office Manager to ensure that the room is clean and in proper working order. A qualified lab Assistant MUST be present during every shoot. Students must never block the glass window on the door during a shoot.
