Meet the Faculty

A unique aspect of SVA is that our faculty is comprised of working professionals: artists who like to teach. In the traditional academic sense, we do not have full-time, tenured faculty. This fact profoundly impacts the quality of the education you will receive at SVA.

Our faculty rarely needs to be informed of the most current industry trends - they are in the industry establishing those trends. Our faculty understands that creative skills and techniques are required to perform as a professional artist in a highly competitive field. Their day-to-day experience is yours to learn, all you have to do is ask.
